1. GENERAL TERMSAll drawings will include a watermark that you may not remove. Unless you have bought commercial rights although I still request you credit me in descriptions.Commercial rights are purposely expensive to deter people from asking.I might record the drawing process and post it on my socials.Prices are not subject to change. If requested I will ignore further contact out of fear of conflict.I have the right to reject any order that I do not feel comfortable drawing for any reason.Normal Commissions without commercial rights are considered personal usage and cannot be used as monetisation.2. PAYMENTCurrency accepted is either £ GBP or $ USD paid only through PayPal invoice. Warning! Due to high fees from PayPal, my prices are higher than usual.Commissions need to be paid 100% after sketch approval and corrections. After the sketch is approved I will send you a PayPal invoice with these terms included. Plus what you have requested.Refunds will be sent if work isn’t completed within 3 months this could be possible due to problems with chronic pain.You will not be charged until after the sketch is approved. (The sketch will have an obstructive watermark).3. PROCESS AND DELIVERYYou can request a commission Via email using the template provided below the prices. If you are accepted I will email you back to discuss some details. I can email you back at any time since no money is involved yet. Deadlines aren’t recommended for working with me since I can’t guarantee health.I will notify you when I have started on your commission and email you the process as I go. While I'm working on your commission I will make reviews with you to make sure it’s to your liking Although corrections made will cease once flat colours are accepted.The amount of reviews depends on the complexity of the work.During the reviews, you will see work-in-progress since I requested full payment it will have the small sign included in the final piece.The time it takes to finish your commission varies 1 week - 3 months upon acceptance depending on factors such as health, life events or complexity.If anything comes up that will slow the progress of the initially estimated delivery time I will let you know asap.Once the piece is finished you will receive the full-resolution image along with a web-friendly size. Note that there is no physical product.Commercial rights! To request this you must pay £200 including the price of the commission itself. This gives you the right to sell the artwork on products such as T-shirts or album covers. However please still credit in the description of the product. “Artwork by ClownOfClubs”. This is expensive on purpose to deter requests.Normal commissions are used for personal usage such as gifts or YouTube thumbnails.If you have questions regarding normal and commercial don’t be afraid to ask I will then add them to the FAQ if not already there.4. COPYRIGHTI, ClownOfClubs (the artist), claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the buyer. Therefore I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:Promote myself with it everywherePublish books with it (artbooks, etc.)Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)Post it wherever I wantNote: if the artwork is something personal say and I will not post about it however that removes your right to post as well. This means you cannot request commercial rights if I cannot post about it.The buyer is allowed to:Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it on all your social media profiles, forums, etc.)Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as their own, but not the artwork itself.Use the artwork to promote themselves. With credit in the description.Use the artwork on their Youtube channel and in monetized videos as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings.
Commercial rights bought means you can use it for products such as T-shirts or badges and monetization with credit.The following is considered copyright infringement and will result in blacklisting:Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means making money off it in any way.Using the art in AI art generation tools if caught doing this even with commercial rights you will be blacklisted from commissions.Claiming the artwork as your ownRemoving my signature from the artworkAltering the artwork without my consentI reserve the full rights to the image and its use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon (rights to the image for your non-personal use may be purchased at any time you may request commercial rights later on. Rights are not given until paid.)5. What do you get?I will send you 5 low-effort thumbnails this doesn’t count towards the sketch approval just helps with the composition and pose. You won’t be charged for this.Sketch/drafts that you must accept before I continue the work.Insight and involvement in colour plan (depending on the complexity of the commissioned piece).Requested canvas size including other requested resolutions.
